Try To Quit
Notice the word "try" in the phrase "try to quit". In order to try to quit smoking, drinking, drugging or anything else, you need a plan and actual action. The definition of insanity is to repeat the same behavior but expect a different result.
If you are going to try to quit, plan for it. Call in some help. Get professional advice. Take it seriously. And most importantly, take action. If you try to quit and fail, try again.
Try to Quit Smoking
Smoking is one of the more addictive habits on our planet. Some people resort to pills, patches and even hypnosis.
While cold turkey works for some. Many resort to much more external sources.
Try to Quick Drinking
Quitting drinking on your own can be very dangerous. If you are one who suffers withdrawal symptoms when you try to quit, I highly suggest that you detox at a medical facility with 24 hour nursing to monitor your withdrawal. I have spoken to individuals that have had seizures and even gone blind from alcohol detox. Not to mention you can die from it.
Try to Quit Drugging
Xanax is a good example of a drug that you don't want to try to quit on your own. Just like alcohol withdrawal, Xanax withdrawal can be deadly. Seek professional help before you try to quit on your own.
